Welcome to Yoga Center Amherst: a rich and multifaceted community of yoga practitioners perched above a coffee shop in the heart of Amherst, MA. Spending an hour and a half on your mat at YCA is a special experience for so many reasons, including the beauty and tranquility of the light-filled space, the depth of the teachers’ knowledge, the familiar faces working behind the desk and practicing alongside you, and the vast range of deep and subtle sensation you are guided to access through every class.

That experience doesn’t end when you roll up your mat and descend the stairs to Kellogg Ave; you carry your practice with you in the home of your body. We hope this blog will support your connection to your practice, and to our community and all it has to offer, wherever you are.
