All classes and workshops at Yoga Center Amherst are now offered through an interactive livestream via Zoom.
Joining class if you are already logged in:
- Visit the YCA schedule page before the start time of the class you’d like to join
- Find the class you’d like to join and click the link to “Sign Up & Pay”
- Purchase a pass if you don’t already have one.
- A “View Broadcast” link will appear next to the class that you’ve registered for – that is a direct link to the class
- The first time you participate in an online class, join a few minutes early to get your Zoom account set up
Joining class if you aren’t logged in:
- Click Log In on the menu bar or “Log In / Create Account” directly on the schedule. if you have trouble logging in, try using a different browser (Chrome and Firefox appear to work better than Safari). If you still have trouble, visit yogacenteramherst.tulasoftware.com and log in there.
- Purchase a pass if you don’t already have passes in your account
- A “View Broadcast” link will appear next to the class that you’ve registered for – that is a direct link to the class

You can view all of our online class offerings at the schedule page of our website. You will need to be logged into your Yoga Center Amherst account to register for a class and get a link. If you don’t have a YCA account or don’t know your password, you can create one or change your password here. When you make a purchase at YCA, an account is automatically created for you using your email address, so you may already have an account but not know it. In that case, just click the “forgot my password” link to create a password for your account. If you don’t know what email address is linked to your account, send us an email and we’ll let you know.
Sustainers will have unlimited access to online classes. If you already have class passes in your YCA account, they will automatically be used when you register. Please note that if you register for a class, you will be checked in and a class will be debited from your account. If you register and end up not attending the class, let us know and we will cancel your registration.
How to use Zoom
We are using www.zoom.us to host these classes. You will need to sign up with a free zoom account (you don’t need a paid account to access the livestream). The first time you use zoom, there will be a simple setup process – so join the first class a few minutes early to take care of that. For most classes, when you join your mic will automatically be muted – please keep it that way and use the chat function if you need to ask a question. It’s possible in zoom to ‘pin’ the teacher’s video to your screen so you see them regardless of who else is speaking – this is done by double-clicking on the image of the teacher on your screen
Audio from the live-streamed classes will be archived and posted on the schedule page of the YCA website. So if you miss a class, you can download the audio and practice at your convenience. These audio archives will only be available to Sustainers. To download audio from a previous class, just go to the schedule page, and you’ll see a link next to the class.
