Each weekly Ayurveda inspired class is a journey through season-specific breathing exercises, gentle Yoga postures, deep core strengthening exercises and reflection. All classes are infused with many useful Ayurvedic, philosophical, and therapeutic insights.
Ayurveda – Yoga’s sister science of holistic health – teaches us that nature’s seasonal fluctuations affect our bodies and our behaviors. But we already know that intuitively, right? The key is that when we adjust our habits – including our lifestyle, eating, sleeping and Yoga practice habits – to sync with natural seasonal cycles, we can optimize our well-being, boosting our immunity, our strength and radiance.
An added focus on the core is key in this class because according to Ayurveda, a strong core and everything that lies within – including a strong agni, or our inner fire of transformation – is needed for preventing and recovering from injuries and illness, for optimizing digestion, for developing inner and outer strength, motivation, clarity and vitality.
